Natural,rich,deep-flavored Wasanbon sugar produced by traditional Awa manufacturing methods.Awa Wasanbon is carefully made by squeezing a special variety of sugarcane (hosokibi) grown in Tokushima Prefecture for Wasanbon at sugar refinery in Tokushima Prefecture.It is a brownish color compared to Sanuki Wasanbon,and has a rich flavor close to raw sugar.
It can be used for cooking and baking just like the sugar you usually use.It is also delicious putting it on strawberries instead of condensed milk, and enhances the flavor of the ingredients.
