Shop & Gallery Ritsurin Store | July 1-31: "How to Make a Small Takamatsu Map" Exhibition

[7/1-7/31] We want people to enjoy the city of Takamatsu (around Ritsurin Garden), where the HIYORI WASANBON shop & gallery is located, even more! With this in mind, we have realized a special exhibition in collaboration with the "Konmai Takamatsu Map Production Office."

"How to Make a Small Takamatsu Map" will feature an exhibition of photographs and materials, from meeting the bookbinder to Risograph printing and map binding, and will also hold an experiential workshop.
[What is the Small Takamatsu Map?]
This is a map for enjoying the small area from Takamatsu Port to Ritsurin Garden with all your senses. Walk around and write (draw) what you find on this map to make it your own.

・Participation fee: 1,500 yen (includes a drink and fresh Wasanbon sugar)
・Items to bring: Small Takamatsu map
*Can be purchased on the day (1,000 yen)
・Contents: What I felt while walking around the center of Takamatsu,

◾️ Stamp-making workshop for making a Ritsurin map
Date and time: July 25th (Fri) 14:00-15:30
・Participation fee: 2,000 yen (includes map, drink, and fresh Wasanbon)
・Number of participants: Up to 8 people
*Target audience: elementary school students to adults
(Children only can participate)
・Contents: A map of the Ritsurin Garden area with a stamp, pens, and colored pencils
Let's make a stamp using the stamp.
I will engrave upon request.
*Please walk around Ritsurin Garden beforehand.
Please come with an idea of what you want to put on the map.
◾️ Small Takamatsu Map Binding Workshop
・Date and time: Held irregularly
・Time required: Approximately 30 minutes (reception available on the spot)
・Participation fee: 2,000 yen (includes map, drink, and fresh Wasanbon)
・Contents: Use glue and a brush to bind the cover and map.
You can make your own cover by pasting and stamping.
(You can use the stamps used on the map)
