Paper Mache Painting Workshop! Summer Vacation Workshop

The "Mitoyo Hariko and Marugame Uchiwa Uchiwa Exhibition" is currently being held at the Ritsurin Tea Stand store.
We will be hosting a papier-mâché painting workshop with artisans from Miyake Doll Shop in Mitoyo, who have been making Kagawa's traditional craft, "Papier-mâché Tigers," for over 120 years .
You might even get to hear about the key points of painting papier-mâché and behind-the-scenes stories about the production process!

◾️Participation fee:
2,800 yen (tax included) *Drink included
Parent and child participation is 5,000 yen (tax included)

◾️Number of participants: Up to 8 people

◾️Contents:
Together with the artisans, you will use paints and masking tape to create your own original papier-mâché.
*You can choose either a tiger or a lighthouse as the base for the papier-mâché.
